YOGA with Susan Martin    

Come and experience the health benefits of Yoga.

For Experienced Participants

Experienced Class:

Date: Tuesday's, 5 Weeks: Feb 25th - March 24th, 2020

Time: Level 2 Yoga: 5.15pm - 6.30pm. Level 1 Yoga: 6.45pm - 8pm

These class is for people who have practiced yoga before.

Cost: $15 casual or $60 per 5 week block.

Please bring a thick blanket, yoga mat if you have one and water. Please fast for 2 hours before the class Disclaimer and Personal History forms required.

DSLR Camera Class

With Phil Down

Do you have a DSLR camera and would like to know how to use it to it’s full capacity? Do you want to get off the auto setting? Then this intermediate DSLR class is for you. Phil comes with a wealth of knowledge gleaned from his years as a keen,enthusiastic photographer. Please bring your charged camera, manual, pen and paper.

Stories of Albacutya

Film Screening

Come and enjoy this wonderful film which has recorded stories of Lake Albacutya’s past told by some great local identities. You may even hear some stories that you didn’t know about. Lake Albacutya is a RAMSAR site,(a wetland site of international significance) and the largest one in Victoria. It has been dry for over 30 years but still has wonderful bird life and records tens of thousands of visitors each year.

Aqua Movers             

Aqua Movers is a water aerobics class to assist in fitness using the support of water. 

General pool use is also an available option.

Time:  9:10am for 9.20am departure

Where: Horsham Aquatic Centre

Cost: $10.00 per session, includes bus transport, pickup from Neighbourhood House

Participants can also enjoy lunch together at Laneway Cafe at their own cost.


Meditation and Relaxation

With John Martin

Meditation and Relaxation helps to reduce stress, depression and anxiety. Meditation can provide a healing of the human spirit and help us maintain control, balance and insight into our lives. John practices meditation everyday and brings along his many years of experience in creating a relaxed meditative state.

Social Media for Small Business "Shoot for Social" Photography on your iPhone

Need images for your social accounts but don't have budget for professional photography? This is the workshop for you!

What's covered? Using your phone, composition, editing and finding the best light. Participants will create a flat lay and use a lightbox to capture images.

At the end for the session, you will have photographs to use on your business or community page.

Delivered by CFT

Food hygiene awareness is a requirement for all persons handling, preparing and storing food in workplace or volunteer positions.

Cost: $110 payment required on enrolment.

Provide First Aid & CPR - HLTAID003

Training Delivered by Casey Kosch

Date: Monday March 16, 2020

Time: CPR 8am - 10am

Time: Full First Aid 10.00am - 5.00pm

Cost: $190 or $90 CPR only

Enrolment and payment please by Monday March 9, 2020 to confirm your place and assist with finalising numbers. There is some online homework for all full Provide First Aid participants, that needs to be picked up and completed before the course on Monday March 16, 2020. This will be emailed to you by Casey Kosch after March 9, 2020.

A Unique Student Identifier is required for this course, information on how to obtain a USI can be found in the Forms tab. Photo identification is required with your enrolment or on the day.

Local Learners

If you want to obtain your Learner Drivers Permit, but need some help to develop better understanding of rules, questions and test requirements?

Our course offers a range of current and practical training modules using Windows 10. Training can be tailored to meet individual or group needs, using online resources to explore a variety of topics.

Basic Computers One-On-One

We are hosting a free digital skills session for people over 50. If you would like to gain some skills in a relaxed setting, this is for you.

Where does your money go? Do you have any savings? Our short Budgeting Basics program will give you the knowledge to effectively manage you day-to-day finances.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

John volunteers his time to assist those for whom English is their second language and want to improve their conversation and literacy skills. This is provided through one-on-one tuition to ensure individual needs are met.


Writer's Group             

When: First Thursday of every month

Passionate about writing and wanting a forum to share your work with others.  Come along and join the friendly and supportive Writer's Group.

Harmony Moon's Tarot for Beginners

Have you ever wanted to learn to read and interpret Tarot cards? Or become more connected to your own Tarot deck? In this 6 week program you will be able to learn the basics of the Major, Minor and Court Cards, how they connect and create readings and how to begin reading for yourself. Learn different spreads and combinations or become more confident in your readings and begin reading for others.  Each Student gets their own Tarot Deck to keep.

Date: Wednesday's from March 18 - April 15 2020. 5 x 1 hour classes.
